Description

The Dragon King Shi Katana is a visually bold Japanese sword with a deep black presentation and carefully chosen fittings. Its skull-shaped tsuba, kanji-embossed fuchi-kashira, and triple silver skull menuki give the piece a distinctive collector-focused character while retaining a traditional katana layout and proportions. The 28" T10 forged steel blade is specified with an HRC 60 edge and HRC 40 back, paired with silver-toned habaki and seppa for a clean contrast against the black mounting. The 11 1/2" tsuka features black-on-black tsuka-ito over same, creating a cohesive finish that complements the sword’s overall aesthetic. For storage and presentation, the blade rests in a hand-carved textured matte black saya fitted with a buffalo horn kurikata and black sageo. Please note that sageo colour and wrapping may vary from the product images.
