Description

The 27 1/8" forged T10 blade features a wavy hamon that echoes the flowing water motif, with a 5/8" sori and traditional proportions from kissaki to habaki. Differential hardness of HRC 60 at the edge and HRC 40 at the back gives the blade a purposeful construction, while the 10 5/8" handle uses black tsuka-ito over white same with silver wave menuki for a balanced, classic look. A black lacquered saya completes the piece, fitted with a buffalo horn kurikata and finished with a coral-and-white sageo. Please note that the sageo cord on the saya may not be wrapped exactly as pictured.
