Citadel Wolf Wakizashi

The Wolf Wakizashi by Citadel is a limited handmade Japanese sword with a strong collector focus. Produced in Citadel’s small workshop in Phnom Penh, each piece is crafted individually from start to finish, giving every sword subtle one-off character. Limited to 100 swords, each example is signed by the smith on the nakago with its sword number and is supplied with a matching certificate. The 21-inch DNH7 blade features bo hi and differential hardness, with an HRC 60 edge and HRC 40 back. The 9-inch tsuka is wrapped in suede tsuka ito over white same with a full same-gawa wrap, complemented by a black etched wolf tsuba, lightly textured fuchi and kashira, and moon-and-cloud menuki. A dark brown lacquered saya with a grey mist finish, buffalo horn kurikata and kojiri completes the presentation, with each saya carved for its individual sword.
