The Kingston Arms Lowlander Sword-New brings back one of CAS Iberia’s most recognisable medieval European sword designs, now refreshed with a cleaner, retooled guard and pommel. Inspired by a surviving 16th-century Scottish great sword, this impressive piece measures almost six feet overall and captures the distinctive Lowlander profile with its broad blade, long two-handed grip and traditional ring guards with quatrefoil detail. Built as a functional reproduction rather than a simple display-only item, the Lowlander uses a 48" blade of 1566 carbon steel and is carefully proportioned for its size, with a listed weight of 7.8 lb and a point of balance at 9". The leather-covered grip is finished with overlaid leather binding and studded fittings, adding both period character and a secure hand feel. Please note that this sword requires some assembly and is supplied without a scabbard or wall mount; suitable display and storage accessories are available separately.
