28 1/4" Blade (71.8cm) with Performance XL Light geometry and bo-hi on both sides, reducing weight for fast handling on lighter cutting targets.
Forged 1566 steel blade, differentially hardened to approximately HRC60 at the edge and HRC40 at the spine for a strong balance of edge performance and resilience.
11" Handle (27.9cm) uses low-maintenance synthetic tsuka components with updated tsuba, fuchi, kashira and menuki tooling inspired by earlier CAS Hanwei designs.

It retains the respected XL blade geometry of the original Practical Series Katana concept, while adding bo-hi to both sides of the blade to reduce weight and improve handling speed without losing the confident feel expected from CAS Hanwei.
