Description

The Savior Katana by Dragon King presents a beautifully considered take on the Kami guardian-spirit theme, with decorative detail carried through the fuchi-kashira, menuki, seppa and tsuba. The result is a collectible Japanese sword with strong visual identity, pairing silver fittings with white same and black cotton tsuka-ito for a clean, traditional contrast. Its 29 1/2" forged T10 steel blade is true clay-tempered to produce a real hamon, enhanced by a traditional polish and mirror-finished shinogi-ji. With a differential hardness of HRc 60 at the edge and HRc 40 at the back, the blade is built with the structural qualities expected from a serious production katana. The katana is housed in a deep blue saya with a buffalo horn kurikata and matching blue sageo, completing the presentation with understated colour and texture. Please note that the sageo wrapping on the saya may vary from the product imagery.
