Description

The Spring Sakura Katana by Dragon King is a thoughtfully detailed Japanese sword inspired by the symbolism of the sakura, or cherry blossom. Its blackened fuchi and kashira, ornate stainless cherry blossom tsuba, crimson tsuka-ito and white same create a striking contrast, balancing sombre tones with carefully placed traditional detail. The 27" blade is forged from 5160 high-carbon steel and through-tempered for resilience, with a marquenched edge hardness of approximately 57 HRC. A 1 1/2" kissaki, 3/4" sori and substantial blade geometry make it a serious piece for collectors who value both construction quality and authentic handling characteristics. The katana is completed with a black lacquered saya featuring a buffalo horn-rimmed koiguchi, wooden kurikata and black sageo. Please note that the sageo wrapping on the scabbard may vary from the product imagery.
