CAS Hanwei PSK Pro Elite Katana

The PSK Pro Elite Katana brings CAS Hanwei’s respected Performance Series back with the features that made the original a favourite, now enhanced with cleaner, crisper furniture and updated production. Its Practical Pro-inspired fittings are paired with a cotton-wrapped handle and a long, balanced format intended for practitioners who prefer additional reach and leverage, while still retaining strong appeal as a finely made Japanese sword for collection and display. The blade is forged from 1566 steel and differentially hardened in the traditional manner, with a stated edge hardness of HRC 60 and spine hardness of HRC 40. Its Shinogi Zukuri geometry is designed to support a broad range of cutting practice, combining useful blade presence with controlled handling. With a 28 3/4" blade, 14 1/8" handle and 4" point of balance, the PSK Pro Elite Katana offers a purposeful specification for those who value consistency, materials and established CAS Hanwei craftsmanship. Formerly made at the Hanwei forge, current CAS Hanwei production continues under the experienced artisans of Dalian at the Dragon King forge.
