Description
The 'Hanger' is a short-bladed sword, seldom exceeding 26 inches, based on a style that gained popularity in Europe and the Americas during the 16th and 17th centuries. Presented as a collectible piece for historical display, this version features a satin-polished blade with multiple fullers and a false edge. The intricately hand-carved Rosewood handle is ornamented with nickel-silver pins. The complementary scabbard is made from heavy black leather and finished with an embossed nickel-silver throat and chape.
