Bugei tribute katana inspired by Edo-period sword maker Nagasone Kotetsu, combining understated fittings with serious collector appeal.
29" Blade (73.7cm) with 3/4" sori, o-choji hamon, 8mm thickness at the guard and 4.9mm thickness at the tip.
Folded T-10 and 1055 steel construction balances visible hada with robust blade character; rated HRC 60 at the edge and HRC 40 at the back.
12" Handle (30.5cm) with premium dark brown Japanese cotton ito over real samegawa, traditional diamond wrap, blackened textured fittings and silver menuki.
Dark chocolate brown saya with contrasting light brown sageo, buffalo horn kurikata and kojiri for a refined, coordinated presentation.

The Armourer's Katana 29" Blade / 12" Handle by Bugei pays homage to Nagasone Kotetsu, the renowned Edo-period sword maker whose background in armour-making influenced a legacy associated with strength, resilience and refined simplicity. This Japanese sword is designed with a restrained, purposeful aesthetic, featuring a uniquely shaped tsuba with pierced yanone detailing echoed in the menuki.
