From The Kingkiller Chronicle, written by Patrick Rothfuss, the Caesura Sword of Kvothe is an officially licensed collectible replica by Valyrian Steel. In the story's lore, Caesura was made in Ademre roughly 2,360 years ago and is known by its true name, Saicere. It reflects the traditional ancient Ademic style described in the books, with a burnished-grey finish and a slightly extended handguard. Kvothe receives the sword from Vashet and Shehyn at the School of the Latantha in Haert after passing the Sword Tree test. Created for collectible display, this reproduction features a 1060 high-carbon-steel blade, a leather-wrapped handle and a uniquely designed handguard. It includes a silkscreened wooden display plaque and a certificate of authenticity personally autographed by the author.
