The Irish Hand and a Half (formerly IP-001) from Legacy Arms is a historically inspired medieval sword based on Irish forms dating to around 1475–1525 AD. Its distinctive ring pommel, polished steel crossguard and long leather-wrapped grip create a recognisable late medieval profile for collectors and historical display. The piece features full tang construction, an overall length of 46 inches and a 34 3/4-inch blade made from 5160 high-carbon spring steel. The blade measures 5mm thick at the guard and tapers to 3.3mm, with a point of balance 3 1/2 inches from the guard. A leather-wrapped wooden scabbard with steel fittings is included, completing the presentation in a style consistent with the Legacy Arms range.
