Designed by Maksim Epifantsev, the Kizer Microbe is a characterful compact folding knife inspired by the forms and colours of the microscopic world. Its 55.57mm drop-point blade is made from Swedish 14C28N stainless steel and features a satin finish, flat grind and extended spine jimping. The result is a controllable cutting edge suited to routine tasks such as opening boxes, trimming materials and carrying out detailed work. The rounded Vortex Micarta handle follows a gentle micro-arc contour, complemented by a finger choil that helps create a secure four-finger grip. Its swirling blue and multicoloured pattern gives each handle an individual appearance while retaining Micarta’s practical handling qualities. A thumb stud and ball-bearing system provide smooth blade operation, while Kizer Button Liner Lock™ uses an oversized semi-circular button for comfortable unlocking and dependable lock-up. Measuring 135.34mm overall and weighing 69.8g, the Microbe offers compact proportions without sacrificing useful control.
