Cold Steel Grik

Created by custom knife maker Andrew Demko, the Cold Steel Grik is a compact folding knife designed for everyday utility tasks. Its distinctive modified spear point blade is made from expertly heat-treated and cryo-quenched Japanese AUS-8 steel, offering a practical balance of edge retention and ease of re-sharpening. A shallow indent in the blade spine provides a comfortable thumb stop and can also serve as an index-finger rest for controlled detail work. The two-tone, line-grain satin-polished blade is paired with a contrasting black polymer HTR thumb ramp. Its ergonomically contoured GFN handle and replaceable, reversible clip create a thin, flat profile for compact storage. The polymer clip is comfortable in the hand and may reduce pressure points compared with steel clips during prolonged use. It is also less likely than a steel clip to scratch paintwork or mark leather surfaces. Equipped with Cold Steel's Tri-Ad locking mechanism, the Grik is a durable and practical folding tool for everyday utility work.
