Description
The Kizer Sheepdog XL is a solid pocket knife, designed by Chris Conaway from Sheepdog Knives. This is the larger version of the first Kizer Sheepdog. Truly a knife that will bring a smile to your face when you open it. The proportions of blade and handle are striking. The blade looks massive in comparison to the ‘normal’ handle. As such, the sheepsfoot blade might start to look a little like a cleaver. A pocket cleaver. Kizer selected 154CM steel for the blade. A good type of steel that is perfect for daily use. The blade runs on teflon. As such, the Sheepdog XL’s flipper mechanism moves smoothly. The handle is made from micarta: a composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. This material is enhanced with a light texture for additional grip.
