The Banter series is Ben Peterson's collaboration with We Knives, drawing inspiration from established folding-knife designs with a focus on practical utility. The Big Banter retains the design of the original while extending the overall size by nearly two inches. Its 3.69-inch blade is housed in a sizeable handle, giving an overall length of just over 8⅓ inches. The revised profile removes the wide base while retaining ample grip space and a finger choil for controlled utility work. The drop-point blade operates smoothly on a caged ceramic ball-bearing pivot and uses ambidextrous dual titanium thumb studs. A nearly full flat grind and spine swedge create a refined blade profile while retaining durability. Barrel spacers connect the nested steel liners and handle scales in a lightweight, easy-to-maintain open-back construction. Durable, weather-resistant G-10 scales provide grip while remaining pocket-friendly. The reversible pocket clip supports ambidextrous tip-up positioning.
