Silverback Bearcat – Burlwood

Meet the Bearcat, a non-locking friction folder conceived in the UK by knife user and collector Dan Webster and refined in partnership with Silverback Knives. Named after the Binturong, also known as the Bearcat, it combines traditional lines with practical materials and modern utility. The design features steel liners, bronze washers, a brass pivot and a brass lanyard tube, with a choice of root burl wood or grey micarta handle scales. A glow-in-the-dark backspacer aids visibility in low-light conditions. The multi-tool tang also functions as a flathead screwdriver, bottle opener and pot lifter. Supplied in a presentation box with a bespoke leather pouch featuring vertical and horizontal belt-mounting options, cordage attachment points and rivet spacing compatible with a range of aftermarket clips.
