Thrill Titanium – Blue / Silver is an ultralight, classic folder from the Italian manufactory lionSTEEL, featuring a satin-finish blade and a handle produced using Solid® technology. It demonstrates advanced manufacturing techniques and is designed for everyday cutting tasks and general utility. The knife uses a SlipJoint non-locking mechanism and is built from a single piece of material. Design by Molletta. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta) is a well-known Italian designer noted for innovative use of materials, experimentation with heat treatment and the application of advanced design software. M390 Microclean® — blade steel produced by Böhler Edelstahl, Austria. A powder metallurgy stainless steel with high corrosion and abrasion resistance; high chromium steel alloyed with vanadium, heat-treated to 59–61 HRC. SlipJoint — non-locking mechanism that uses spring pressure on a back notch to hold the blade in both folded and open positions; manual force is required to open and close the blade. IKBS (ball bearing system) enables fast, smooth blade opening. Blade — drop point with a full flat grind and plain edge, satin matte finish; opened using a double-sided nail nick. Handle — blue, machined from a single block of titanium 6Al4V using Solid® Knife technology. CNC machining creates a lightweight, monolithic skeleton providing high structural strength. Non-slip surface texture improves grip. H.WAYL (Hide What Annoys You Lionsteel) — a retractable right-side clip allowing tip-up carry; the clip is operated by a push-button, a solution appreciated during prolonged use when a protruding clip can interfere with work.
