Thrill Titanium – Blue / Silver is an ultralight, classic folding knife from the Italian manufacturer lionSTEEL. It features a satin-finished blade and a handle machined using Solid® technology. Designed by Molletta, it combines advanced manufacturing methods with a practical design for routine utility tasks where lawful. Michele Pensato, also known as Molletta, is a well-known Italian designer recognised for his use of materials, heat-treatment experimentation and advanced design software. The blade is made from M390 Microclean®, a powder-metallurgy stainless steel produced by Böhler Edelstahl in Austria. This high-chromium steel is alloyed with vanadium, offers high corrosion and abrasion resistance, and is heat-treated to 59–61 HRC. The SlipJoint is a non-locking mechanism that uses spring pressure against a back notch to hold the blade in the folded and open positions. Manual force is required to open and close the blade. The IKBS ball-bearing system supports smooth blade movement. The blade has a drop-point profile, full flat grind, plain edge and satin-matte finish, with a double-sided nail nick for opening. The blue handle is machined from a single block of titanium 6Al4V using Solid® Knife technology. CNC machining creates a lightweight, monolithic skeleton with high structural strength, while the textured surface supports a secure grip. H.WAYL is a retractable right-side clip with a tip-up configuration. A push-button operates the clip, allowing it to retract into the handle when not required.
