lionSTEEL Thrill Aluminum – Green / Silver

Thrill Aluminum – Green / Silver is a lightweight folding knife from Italian manufacturer lionSTEEL. Designed by Michele Pensato (Molletta), it features a handle machined from a single piece of aluminium using Solid® Knife technology. The non-locking SlipJoint mechanism uses spring pressure against a flat notch on the back of the blade to retain it in the open and folded positions. Manual pressure is required to open and close the blade. The IKBS ball-bearing system supports smooth blade movement, while the double-sided nail nick provides manual access. The satin-finished, plain-edge blade has a drop-point profile and full flat grind. It is made from Böhler-Uddeholm M390 Microclean® powder-metallurgy steel, a high-chromium alloy containing vanadium and offering high corrosion and abrasion resistance. The blade has a hardness of 59–61 HRC, and the steel is manufactured in Austria. The green aluminium handle has a textured surface for a secure grip and a lightweight monolithic construction produced through CNC machining. The H.WAYL (Hide What Annoys You Lionsteel) right-side clip supports tip-up carry and retracts at the push of a button when not required. Suitable for general utility tasks.
