Thrill Green Aluminium, satin blade, ultralight classic folder from the Italian manufactory lionSTEEL, with a handle manufactured using Solid® technology. Demonstrates advanced production techniques. Equipped with a SlipJoint mechanism (non-locking) and a handle machined from a single piece of material. An excellent tool for general cutting tasks. Design by Molletta. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta) is known for a fresh approach to materials, experimentation in heat treatment and the use of advanced design software. M390 Microclean® — blade made from high-quality powder metallurgy steel with very high corrosion and abrasion resistance. High-chromium steel alloyed with vanadium; hardness 59–61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, Austria. SlipJoint — non-locking mechanism commonly used in folders; it uses spring pressure on a flat notch on the back of the blade to hold the blade in both folded and open positions. Manual force is required to fold and unfold the blade. IKBS (ball bearing system) provides quick, smooth opening of the blade. Blade — drop point plain edge with a full flat grind and a satin matte finish. The blade is opened using a double-sided nail nick. Handle — green handle made from a single block of aluminium machined with Solid® Knife technology. CNC machining produces a lightweight monolithic skeleton of superior strength. Non-slip surface texture improves grip. H.WAYL (Hide What Annoys You Lionsteel) — retractable right-side clip allows tip-up carry; the clip retracts with the push of a button, a practical solution for prolonged use when a protruding clip can interfere with work.
