Thrill Aluminum Black, Satin Blade ultralight, classic folder of the Italian manufactory LionSteel with a handle manufactured using Solid® technology. Proof of the high technological development used in the production of knives. Equipped with a SlipJoint mechanism ('no lock'), built from one piece of material. An excellent tool for most cutting tasks, suitable for everyday and field use. Design by Molletta: Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), a well-known and respected Italian designer noted for innovative use of materials, experiments in heat treatment and the application of advanced design software. M390 – blade made of modern powder steel with very high corrosion and abrasion resistance. High-chromium steel with a vanadium addition, hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, Austria. SlipJoint – non-locking mechanism used in folders. Uses spring pressure on a flat notch on the back of the blade to hold the blade in both folded and unfolded positions; force is required to fold/unfold the knife. IKBS – ball bearing system allows fast and smooth opening of the blade. Blade – Drop Point profile provides effective cutting-edge geometry. Plain blade has a Full Flat Grind that complements the satin matte finish. Knife is opened with a double-sided nail nick on the blade. Handle – machined from a single block of Ergal aluminium using Solid® Knife technology. CNC machining produces a lightweight, monolithic skeleton (body) with high structural strength. Non-slip surface texture improves grip. H.WAYL – retractable right-side clip allows tip-up carry; the clip retracts at the push of a button. This design is useful during extended use when a protruding clip can get in the way.
