Designed by Caleb Waldman, the Kizer Snail-trail is a highly compact utility knife inspired by the rounded form and spiral shell of a snail. Its satin-finished AEB-L hawkbill blade measures 10.69mm and uses a flat grind, providing a precise hooked edge for opening packaging, trimming cord and handling small everyday cutting tasks. A thumb stud and detent slip-joint mechanism support simple manual operation; the blade is non-locking. The silver aluminium handle is CNC-machined with concentric circles that create a distinctive shell-like texture and cohesive organic shape. At only 38.36mm overall and 30.7g, the Snail-trail adds minimal bulk to a pocket, pouch or organiser. An integrated lanyard loop and two included cords provide convenient attachment options, completing this characterful yet functional Kizer design.
