Designed by Johan Jordaan, the Kizer Parakeet is a compact folding knife created for precise everyday cutting and practical outdoor tasks. Its 62.6 mm drop-point blade is made from Nitro-V steel with a hardness of 60–61 HRC, offering a useful balance of corrosion resistance, edge retention and ease of maintenance. The flat grind supports smooth, controlled cuts, while the satin blade finish complements the knife's clean, modern styling. The lightweight grey aluminium handle provides durability and a comfortable, secure grip without unnecessary bulk. A ball-bearing pivot and thumb hole enable smooth one-handed opening, while the button liner lock holds the blade securely during use. At 149.1 mm overall and weighing 70.5 g, the Parakeet is completed by a reversible pocket clip for practical, adaptable positioning.
