Its 71 mm drop-point blade is made from AEB-L steel, flat ground for balanced cutting performance and finished with a black matt DLC coating. A thumb stud and ball-bearing system provide smooth one-handed opening, while the Kizer Clutch Lock™ offers dependable blade retention with multiple tension-adjustment positions. Measuring 172.9 mm overall and weighing just 77.5 g, the Aegis pairs convenient proportions with a blue aluminium handle. Stainless steel tweezers and a toothpick are integrated into the handle to extend its usefulness for small daily tasks.
