The SweptHilt Rapier Polished-Unassembled 1 Blade + 1 Guard by Kingston Arms is a Renaissance-style rapier inspired by the elegant civilian swords of early 17th-century Europe. Its long 37" 1566 high carbon steel blade, swept hilt profile and stainless steel fittings capture the refined proportions associated with historic European rapier design, making it a strong choice for collectors, display and historical fencing enthusiasts. Kingston Arms has strengthened the guard area where it joins the blade, while the matte stainless steel guard and pommel offer a clean, understated finish. The brown cord-wrapped grip measures 3 1/2" and is designed to sit comfortably in the hand, with space to use fencing gloves if desired. Please note that this rapier is supplied disassembled to reduce packaging size. The pommel, guard and handle are packed separately, and a metric wrench is included to tighten the grip and pommel during assembly.
