Kingston Arms Atrim Design I-Beam Longsword Trainer

This HEMA training longsword was designed by Angus Trim and its I-beam blade design was designed to create a sword with thick, blunted edges for safety and edge damage resistance which avoided becoming excessively heavy. The long, wide and deep fuller is framed by thickened blade edges to achieve this and this ensures that a durable and safe blade is created which still retains the handling characteristics typical of a medieval longsword. The blade is forged from 9260 high carbon steel and tempered to a good balance between stiffness and flexibility. The guard and pommel are cast from stainless steel with an antiqued finish and the wooden grip is tightly bound in leather. Included is a wooden scabbard which is sheathed in leather and finished with a pinned chape of antiqued stainless steel.
