The KA-BAR 9926 KA-BAR Sharpener is a compact, portable solution for restoring the edges of straight-edge knives. Its carbide inserts are set to sharpen at 22.5° per side, producing a 45° inclusive edge selected as a practical universal angle for a broad range of knives, including non-KA-BAR models. Made in the USA with a durable Creamid® body, this sharpener measures 6.375 inches overall and weighs only 0.15 lb. It requires only a stable, flat surface and a knife in need of sharpening. As the fixed angle may differ from a knife’s existing edge geometry, initial use may slightly reprofile the blade.
