Description
The Ganzo Firebird FH61-GY is a small edc folder, equipped with a 2.75" clip point D2 tool steel blade, a convenient unfolding system and handle facings made of lightweight and durable G10 laminate. For the blade Ganzo have chosen satin finished D2 Tool Steel, a hardy steel alloy that retains its sharpness well and can also be sharpened in the field – As D2 Tool Steel is a hard alloy it is recommended that a diamond sharpener be used. A milled flipper is used to unfold the blade with one hand, which is convenient for right and left-handed people. After unfolding the blade, it is locked with a liner-lock, a mechanism valued for durability and comfort of use. The handle measures 3.98" and is constructed from G-10. G10 is a composite material based on fiberglass and epoxy resin. It has impact resistance, strength and moisture resistance.
