Cold Steel has long valued the design and craftsmanship of the Viking Axe. Its new forging facility enables the company to produce the design to its required standards. The Viking Axe features a long, thin blade that is fully polished and hand-sharpened to a fine edge. It has a 10-inch cutting surface with a horned profile at each end. A strong, resilient haft supports leverage and controlled handling. Made in Maine from hickory, the wooden haft complements the axe's traditional form.
