Cold Steel Grik

Created by custom knife maker Andrew Demko, the Cold Steel Grik is a pocket-friendly, functional utility and everyday carry knife. The Grik’s distinctive modified spear point blade is made from expertly heat-treated and cryo-quenched Japanese AUS-8 steel for a balance between edge holding and ease of re-sharpening. A shallow indent in the spine of the blade provides a comfortable thumb stop for leverage during heavy tasks, or a rest for the index finger when using the tip for precision cutting. The Grik’s two-tone line-grain satin polished blade and contrasting black polymer HTR thumb ramp provide visual contrast. Its ergonomically contoured GFN handle with a replaceable and reversible clip creates an extremely thin, flat, low-profile carry that is easy on pockets and compact. The polymer clip is comfortable in hand and reduces pressure points that can occur with steel clips during prolonged use; unlike a steel clip it is less likely to scratch paintwork or damage leather surfaces. Equipped with the Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven to offer high levels of safety, security and strength, the Grik is a tough, practical and functional everyday working tool.
