Description
The Cold Steel AK-47 series is available in two sizes and is built with durable materials for demanding utility and outdoor use. Each AK-47 features a solid 6061 aluminium pommel and an S35VN alloy steel blade, vacuum heat-treated and sub-zero quenched for toughness, with a hollow-ground profile. The blade has a DLC (Diamond Like) coating for corrosion and abrasion resistance. High-quality G-10 handle scales provide a secure grip, including when wearing thick gloves or working in cold or wet conditions. The knife is equipped with Cold Steel's Tri-Ad lock, designed for strong lock-up and shock resistance. For ambidextrous pocket carry and opening, each AK-47 includes Cold Steel's patented thumb plate, which can engage the edge of a pocket as the knife is removed.
