Cold Steel 4 Max Scout

The original 4 Max met its intended design requirements but was costly and difficult to manufacture in the volumes needed to meet demand. The 4 Max Scout is easier to produce and offers a more affordable alternative. It features the same extra-wide drop-point blade profile and stonewashed finish as the original 4 Max. The 5 mm-thick blade is made from AUS-10A stainless steel for strength, toughness and edge retention. The handle follows the silhouette of the original and uses Griv-Ex™ with stainless-steel liners and a Griv-Ex™ back spacer in place of G-10. It is fitted with Andrew Demko’s Tri-Ad® locking mechanism. In Cold Steel testing, the 4 Max Scout passed shock and impact tests and supported 600 lbs of free-hanging weight without damage.
