Description
The Throwing Spear W from CAS Hanwei is a decorative Viking-style spearhead inspired by Nordic period design and ornate surface detail. Its narrow, tapered profile reflects historical spearhead forms, while the decorative finish recreates the visual character of Niello work, with dark detailing set against a polished, brighter surface. CAS Hanwei uses a modern process to achieve a permanent Niello-like effect, giving the piece a distinctive period-inspired appearance without relying on the original metal-and-sulphur technique. Measuring 16 1/4" overall with a 9 3/4" blade length, this spearhead is supplied without a shaft and is made to suit a 1" diameter shaft. Please note that this spearhead is cast hollow and intended solely as a collectible or display piece. It is not suitable for functional use.
