The Camillus PRISTINE 6.75" Folding Knife features a G10/Stainless steel handle and VG10 Steel blade. This material combination was chosen for the handle because it provides handling not commonly found on other modern knives, offering distinct firmness. VG10 is considered a "super steel" as it is engineered to retain sharpness and durability, making it well suited for knife blades. To ensure the blade's strength complements the VG10 base attributes and the robust handle, the steel is bonded with Carbonitride Titanium. This grants enhanced resistance to rust and corrosion, and makes the blade up to 10x harder than untreated steel so the blade can stay sharp for longer.
