TOPS Poker

The TOPS Poker Knife TPKR-01 is a remarkable fixed knife, designed by Craig Powell. For a leatherwork project he needed a pointed and sharp knife. He produced a type of kiridashi-like knife. A Japanese marking knife. Once this model was born he saw the potential. He combined the Japanese kiridashi shape with a classic karambit. As such you have even more control over the blade, making the TOPS Poker Knife even more versatile. The pointed wharncliffe blade is made from 1095 carbon steel. That is a tough, easy to sharpen type of steel. 1095 excels because you can sharpen it razor-sharp. It is, however, not as corrosion resistant. That is why it is wise to keep the blade clean and add a couple drops of oil to it once in a while. The handle is made from micarta. A type of sandwich of a layer of brown micarta and a layer of black micarta. A nice contrast for a beautiful knife. The TOPS Poker Knife comes in a kydex sheath with a flexible belt loop.
