Description
The popularity of the TOPS Fieldcraft knife, also known as BOB, Brothers of Bushcraft or BROS, has led to several versions of the model. This edition is made from 154CM stainless steel and features a black linen Micarta handle. It has the same dimensions as the other Fieldcraft models and a Rockwell hardness of 58–60. As a stainless-steel model, it receives a full heat treatment rather than a differential heat treatment. With a minor modification, the spine can be used with a ferro rod or for scraping tasks. The Fieldcraft Knife was designed by The Brothers of Bushcraft, a North American group focused on sharing a broad range of wilderness living skills, including tracking and shelter building.
