TOPS Baja 4.5

The Baja 4.5 expands on the popular Baja 3.0 with a 4.5-inch blade. In place of the Coyote Tan powder coat, TOPS has applied its Black River Wash finish, giving each knife a distinctive appearance. Green Canvas Micarta handle scales and a high-quality leather dangler sheath complete the package for outdoor users and collectors. Unlike many other TOPS models in the 4 to 4.5-inch range, the blade is 5/32 inch thick, placing it between 1/8 and 3/16 inch, and features a full flat grind. TOPS’ professional heat treatment provides long-lasting edge retention while keeping the blade straightforward to resharpen when required. Jimping along the spine and finger guard contributes to a secure grip during demanding outdoor tasks or in wet conditions. The blade profile is suited to controlled utility work, bushcraft tasks, branch processing and food preparation. The name and design take inspiration from Baja California, a region of varied landscapes ranging from the 10,157-foot Devil’s Peak to the Sonoran Desert and coastal beaches.
