Designed by Newfoundland-based knifemaker Jonathan Styles, the Tenable Parr is a compact fixed-blade knife created for everyday utility and outdoor use. Its name refers to the agile young stage of a salmon, reflecting the knife’s streamlined proportions and capable design. The 72.99 mm reverse tanto blade features a straight cutting edge and flat grind, making it suitable for controlled utility cuts and detailed tasks. Made from 14C28N steel and finished in blackwash, it offers a practical balance of edge performance and corrosion resistance. The contoured green Micarta handle provides a comfortable, dependable grip, with spine jimping adding control where precision matters. At 162 mm overall and only 66.3 g, the Parr delivers useful fixed-blade performance without unnecessary bulk. A precision-moulded Kydex sheath is included to protect the blade and provide secure attachment to a belt or pack.
