Designed by Johan Jordaan, the Tenable Heron is a practical folding knife shaped by time spent fishing and exploring the outdoors. Its 7.95 cm blade combines a broad, leaf-influenced profile with a drop-point tip and flat grind, delivering controlled performance for fishing tasks, food preparation, carving and general utility. This version uses genuine 110-layer JD-110 water-ripple Damascus, forged from 10Cr15CoMoV and 9Cr18MoV steels to create an authentic patterned finish. The neutral handle shape is designed to sit naturally in a range of grip styles, while bead-blasted aluminium construction and micro-milled detailing provide a functional, refined finish. An opening hole and ball-bearing system promote smooth deployment, complemented by a secure crossbar lock. At 18 cm overall and 104.5 g, the Heron offers a considered balance of manageable dimensions, comfortable handling and dependable outdoor performance.
