Tenable Goblin L

Designed by Marshall Noble, the Tenable Goblin L develops the original Goblin concept into a larger and more capable folding knife while retaining practical proportions. Inspired by the compact XF-85 “Goblin” experimental aircraft, its broad 78.2 mm sheepsfoot blade offers controlled cutting performance for everyday and general utility tasks. The stonewashed 14C28N blade is flat ground and hardened to 58–60 HRC, providing a dependable balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and straightforward maintenance. The brown Micarta handle delivers a tactile, comfortable grip and houses a secure liner-lock mechanism. A ball-bearing system supports smooth operation, with three convenient opening methods: a jimped front flipper tab, finger-flick opening and thumb hole. At 193.3 mm overall and 123 g, the Goblin L has a reassuring presence without becoming cumbersome, while the bent pocket clip provides a practical attachment and storage option.
