Tenable Bömbur

Designed by Midgards Messer, the Tenable Bömbur is a substantial folding knife inspired by the strength and reliability of its namesake. Its 89.7 mm drop-point blade is made from D2 steel with a blackwash finish and a robust 5.0 mm spine. A long straight section supports controlled everyday cutting, while the rising belly is well suited to slicing. The flat grind provides practical cutting geometry, and jimping offers extra purchase without being overly aggressive. The sculpted purple Micarta handle features two ergonomic curves that help the fingers settle naturally into a secure grip. A full titanium backspacer adds rigidity and a reassuring in-hand feel, while the titanium pocket clip complements the durable construction. Opening is supported by a ball-bearing pivot, triangular blade aperture and fuller, with a liner lock providing firm blade retention during use. Measuring 212.8 mm overall and weighing 214 g, the Bömbur is purposefully built for users who prefer a solid, overbuilt working folder.
