Rough Ryder Amber Bone Small Hunter Fixed Blade Knife

The Rough Ryder Small Hunter is a compact fixed blade knife. With its 3.125" long blade, this knife is well suited to campsite food tasks such as preparing smaller fish and general food preparation. 440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It does not retain its edge as long as higher-alloy steels, but is tough and easy to re-sharpen. The handle is made from Amber Bone. This is cow bone that is enhanced with a texture and then coloured. This material has been used for over 100 years for knife handles and has become a tradition of its own. Bone, of course, is a natural material, so small differences in colour, shape or other minor imperfections may occur. This knife comes with a nylon sheath with belt loop.
