Rough Ryder Amber Bone Small Hunter Fixed Blade Knife

The Rough Ryder Small Hunter is a compact fixed blade knife. With its 3.125" long blade this knife is mostly suited for campsite food tasks such as the preparation of smaller fish and general food preparation. 440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It does not retain its edge as long as higher-alloy steels, but is tough and easy to re-sharpen. The handle is made from Amber Bone. This is cow bone that is enhanced with a texture and then coloured. This material has been used for over 100 years for knife handles and has become a tradition of its own. Bone, of course, is a natural material, so small differences in colour, shape or other minor imperfections may occur. This knife comes with a nylon sheath with belt loop.
