Its Nessmuk-style profile features a deep cutting belly, an upswept point and a flat grind, making it well suited to campsite food preparation, controlled slicing and processing kindling. The acid-washed, three-layer composite blade uses a hard 100Cr18MoVCo steel core between more flexible outer layers, balancing edge retention with resilience. The grey Norplex UltreX™ Micarta handle is precision-machined with Kizer’s Flint Texture for a secure, tactile grip. Multi-stage spine jimping, shaped finger grooves and a sloped guard support accurate control, while the skeletonised tang keeps the knife’s weight to just 78g. Supplied with a durable Kydex sheath, the Rook offers a practical combination of compact dimensions, dependable construction and comfortable handling for outdoor and everyday utility tasks.
