Description
Designed by Azo, the Kizer Polaris is a robust fixed-blade knife influenced by traditional Yakutian blade geometry. Its 107.5 mm drop-point blade is made from 1095 high-carbon steel and features a chisel grind, fuller and black coating. This distinctive construction is intended to reduce drag during demanding cutting tasks, while the reinforced profile supports controlled utility work in wood, leather and other outdoor materials. The tan G10 handle measures 118.9 mm and incorporates jimping and a deep finger notch for dependable grip control, including when wearing gloves. At 226.4 mm overall and 179.2 g, the Polaris offers a balanced, substantial feel without excessive bulk. A sheath is included for protected storage and transport. As 1095 is a high-carbon steel, routine cleaning, drying and light oiling are recommended; the knife should not be used for chopping, as impact may damage the edge.
