Description
Designed by Evgeniy Bulychev, the Kizer Hornet is a compact fixed-blade knife with a distinctive insect-inspired form and practical utility geometry. Its 64.07mm sheepsfoot blade uses a negative angle to position the cutting edge forward, helping it engage material efficiently while reducing unnecessary wrist movement. A flat grind provides dependable slicing performance for tasks such as opening packaging, cutting cord and general outdoor or workshop use. The blade is made from Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, hardened to 58–59 HRC and finished with black PVD coating over a rugged stonewashed treatment. Its translucent yellow PEI handle has a contoured profile and machined diagonal grooves to promote a stable four-finger grip. At 162.55mm overall and 103.6g, the Hornet offers a balanced combination of portability, control and durability, with a sheath supplied for protected storage and transport.
