The blade shoots out of the handle thanks to the flipper. The blade runs on ball bearings. This creates less friction between the handle and the blade when opening. Once opened, the blade is held firmly in place by the frame lock. The frame lock is enforced with a steel insert which ensures that the framelock is wear and tear resistant. The insert also functions as an overtravel stop. This overtravel stop ensures that the framelock cannot bend too far. The handle is made from Raffir Noble. This is a composite material made from copper, brass and synthetic resin. The blade has a stonewashed finish. As a result, traces of use hardly stand out.
