The Begleiter2 folder by Kizer Cutlery is a slender, practical folding knife offering strong materials and thoughtful construction for its price point. Different from the other Begleiters, the button lock supports controlled handling when closing the blade. The ball bearing pivot provides smooth blade deployment, while the dual thumb studs offer reliable purchase. A large lanyard slot can accommodate 550 paracord. The slim handle profile supports easy carry where lawful and appropriate, with an ergonomic shape for comfortable handling. It also features a reversible spring pocket clip, stainless steel liners, and FatCarbon scales. FatCarbon is known for distinctive, high-quality carbon fibre materials suited to knife making, with patterned, metal-infused resins that provide a striking finish. The Bladesmith Series is Kizer's collaboration with the custom knife-making world. Kizer licenses designs from custom knifemakers and combines those designs with its technical manufacturing expertise and quality control.
