KA-BAR EK Model 4

The KA-BAR EK MODEL 4 is an updated interpretation of a classic John Ek design, built in the United States with robust materials and purposeful construction. Its 16.83 cm double-edged spear-point blade is made from 1095 Cro-Van steel, hardened to 56–58 HRC and finished with a parkerised coating. A flat grind and 20° edge angle provide consistent cutting performance, while the 12-gauge carbon steel guard adds practical hand protection. The textured glass-filled nylon handle offers a secure grip and retains the traditional X-head fasteners associated with the design. Measuring 32.07 cm overall and weighing approximately 318 g, the EK MODEL 4 has a solid, balanced format. A US-made Celcon® sheath is included, complete with a retaining strap, self-locking function and multiple tie-down points for secure storage and transport.
