Gerber Saltwater Controller 8″ Fillet Knife

The Controller 8" Saltwater Fillet Knife is designed for filleting fish, with a flexible blade that provides a suitable amount of give. The intuitive GuideFins and tactile HydroTread Grip support controlled handling, including in slippery conditions. Engineered for saltwater anglers, SALT Rx provides resistance to corrosion and wear in demanding environments. Selected for its toughness, corrosion resistance and edge retention, the 9Cr18MoV blade is mirror polished for additional corrosion resistance and easier cleaning. The Controller is constructed with a full-tang steel blade for sturdy handling in wet conditions. The innovative moulded plastic sheath features generous ventilation to help prevent water retention and is easy to rinse after use. A built-in sharpener supports blade maintenance while away from home, and the sheath offers multiple mounting options for storage on a backpack, belt or pocket.
